The EBCLD Bookmobile has finally arrived, and I couldn’t be more pleased! Not every illustrator gets to stand next to a life-size version of their character, and I’m so grateful to the team at East Bonner County Library for giving me this opportunity.

Painting for the Carousel of Smiles

Eventually this fishie will be mounted on one of the carousel’s many panels, but for now he resides in the organization studio to give the horses encouragement while they undergo restoration.

Yet another dream job came my way this year, folks! I was asked to outfit East Bonner County Library’s new Bookmobile with adorable animals and gorgeous scenery.

This is the largest (in size, that is) digital project I’ve done so far and it was a blast! I can’t wait to see it zipping around the community bringing all the library has to offer.

In 2017 I won the SCBWI Inland Northwest Logo contest with this little design.

Now, several years later, I’m happy to announce that I’ve taken up the position of Illustrator Coordinator for SCBWI’s Inland Northwest Region! SCBWI has given me so much over the years and now I finally have the time to give something back.
